I think my mom’s simple stuffing is tops. It might help that I have fond holiday memories of toasting the bread while she chopped and sauteed and seasoned. This stuffing is on the dry side.
Sometimes when you don’t feel good you want something warm, creamy, and gentle on your system. Here is a very easy baked custard that you can mix up in a minute or two and then go back to bed and rest while it bakes.
