Strawberry-Kale Green Smoothie

Ingredients
  • 8 ounces fresh strawberries (about 2 cups)
  • 1 banana
  • 3 ounces kale (about 4 cups loosely packed)
  • 4 ounces water and 4 tablespoons vanilla protein powder OR 4 ounces (1/2 cup) vanilla yogurt
  • 1 cup ice cubes
Instructions
  1. Place strawberries, banana, and water or yogurt in blender. Blend until combined, stopping and rearranging ingredients with a rubber spatula if necessary.
  2. Add kale a leaf or two at a time, then protein powder, if using. Puree, then add ice and puree until smooth. Drink immediately.
