Instructions
  1. For each quart of water, try 2 tea bags or 2 tablespoons loose tea in a tea ball. This is a starting point—if your tea is too strong or too weak, use fewer or more tea bags in your next batches. Place tea and water in glass container with a cover.
  2. For sun tea, set container outside in sunny place for 3 to 5 hours, or longer if it’s cloudy. For cold brewed tea, place in refrigerator several hours or overnight.
  3. Remove tea bags or ball and serve chilled over ice with lemon or mint. If desired, add 1/2 teaspoon sugar or other sweetener per 8 ounces tea. If it's too strong or too weak for your taste, adjust amount of tea the next time you make it.
